A Warm Welcome from the Head Teacher

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our website, thank you for taking the time to look around and find out more about our school. East Ravendale Church of England Primary School is a small, rural school nestled in the Lincolnshire Wolds – an area of outstanding natural beauty – about 5 minutes south of Waltham. We are graded ‘good in all areas' by Ofsted (2023) and 'good' by the National Society Inspection of Anglican Schools (SIAMS) in 2016.

We are part of the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT) which is made up of 21 schools within the Lincoln Diocese. We aim to provide a robust, engaging curriculum which encompasses our three core, Christian values of wonder, belief and joy. The learning experiences we provide for our children aim to ensure that all children reach their full potential and leave our school as life-long learners, ready to take on new challenges.

We are an inclusive school; we are a caring, welcoming, safe place where children can develop their confidence and abilities, achieving their full potential in both academic and social, emotional areas. We are proud that our children are happy, hard-working and polite, and emphasis is placed on each child’s individuality and the contributions they make to the life of our school. Respect for each other and the environment is encouraged, and a warm, friendly atmosphere between all members of our school community is fostered.

As part of the church school family we enjoy strong links with our local church and the diocese. We take part in church and diocesan events throughout the year, and enjoy seeing the children explore their relationship with God and the world around them.

Children settle in to East Ravendale very quickly and happily. Everyone is made very welcome, including parents, who are actively encouraged to take an active part in the life of the school.
