East Ravendale C of E Primary School

Making memories

Admissions

Thank you for your interest in our lovely school. We are a caring, inclusive school nestled in beautiful surroundings in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, 5 minutes from Waltham. We offer a high quality educational experience for children in all year groups and are rated 'good' in all areas by Ofsted. Our end of Key Stage results are above national averages, and we are very successful in EYFS outcomes and phonics.

Why choose us?

Aside from academic achievements, children at our school flourish; our staff know every child by name and we form strong, positive relationships with our children and families alike. We have designed a bespoke curriculum which ensures that children get a breadth of learning in all key areas - from science to history, geography to RE, art to music. Children have the opportunity to engage with a range of experiences in school including trips and visits, residential trips, music tuition and enrichment days which enhances their holistic experience at our school.

We are a proud Church school and everything we do is driven by our vision and core values of wonder, belief and joy. We are part of the Lincoln Anglican Academies Trust, a group of 23 church schools from across the wider county of Lincolnshire and we benefit from working alongside colleagues and friends in other schools to learn from them, support them which helps to develop and strengthen all the things we do in our school.

We welcome visits from prospective families, please contact the school office to arrange a visit at your convenience.

We are proud of our school. As a small school we work hard as a team to ensure that every child 'gets what they need' to succeed.

How to apply?

All children are admitted into school (Reception class - Hedgehogs) in the September preceding their fifth birthday. The school’s current admission arrangements are in line with the published criteria in the North East Lincolnshire ‘A Guide for Parents’. The admissions team may be contacted on 01472 326291 option 4 and more information can be found on the NELC website: https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/children-families-and-schools/schools-and-education/school-admissions/

We have a Pre-School for children who are aged three and over. We find that joining our pre-school at staggered times during the school year means the young ones settle very quickly and easily into the school's daily routines. The children in our pre-school are exposed to early learning and good learning behaviours at an early age which means they have an excellent start to their primary education journey.
