Welcome to Hedgehog Class 

In Hedgehog class your teachers are Mrs Gallant and Mrs Stamp, supported by Mrs Wright (AM) and Mrs Simpson (PM).

We are a mixed class of Nursery and  Reception children. We are kind, caring, thoughtful and are eager to explore and learn. Our favourite things to do are asking questions about the world around us, learning through play, being outside and being creative. 

Keep checking our page for updates because we really do get up to lots of fun filled things in Hedgehog class!

When in Hedgehog class, your child will enjoy learning through the seven different areas of learning and RE. These allow us to fully immerse ourselves in many rich and connected ways. What is Read Write inc?

Home Learning

Your children will come home with a reading pack at the beginning of the year. This will include, when ready, sound books, a sharing book and Read Write Inc home learning/books that match the sounds and level that they are working on in school. Please enjoy these with your children but also share with us any other fun reading that you do together. 

We love hearing about what fun activities the children get up to when not at school. It helps children connect home and school and further develops their love of exploration and the world around them with their peers and teachers.
