Punctuality is important!

Children do not like being late for school - being late has a negative impact on their whole day. The doors to classes 1 and 2 opens at 8.40am, for classes 3 and 4 at 8.55am; children who arrive after 9.05am are considered late. Late arrivals should report to the office where children will be taken to their classrooms in order to minimise the disruption to the rest of the pupils. 

If your child is absent from school:

1. Please phone 01472 825999 on the first day of absence leaving your child's name, class and reason for absence. This should be done every day your child is absent from school.
2. Messages may be left on the school's answerphone, sent via email or delivered in person.
3. We record all reported absences, so a letter is not required.
4. If we have not heard from parents or carers by 9.30am with a reason for absence, we will ring all the contacts we have on file until contact is made.

If your child has an appointment:

Please bring a copy of an appointment card or other proof to the school office, so that we can authorise leave.
