Chair of Governors -

Nigel Bishop

Appointed 03.09.2020 Office ends 02.09.2024

Foundation Laat Appointed Governor

Responsiblities for Pupil Premium

I am a former primary headteacher who is now a consultant, trainer, counsellor and writer. Being a husband, parent and granddad are also very important aspects of who I am, as I try to embrace semi-retirement more fully. Helping on my wife's allotment and running Messy Church at a church in Grimsby are just a couple of the activities that also matter to me. It's a privilege to be a governor at East Ravendale, to support and encourage my colleagues on the Academy Committee, everyone on the staff and all the wonderful pupils, who we're all committed to helping as they learn and grow in our school.

Parent Governor -

Natalie Hopper

Appointed 01.10.2022 Office ends 30.09.2026

Responsibilities for Mental Health and Wellbeing, Safeguarding

I’ve been a full time parent since having my daughter, eleven years ago, after a career in sales and sales coaching.

I’m married with two children, one who attends another local school and my son, who is in year 1 at East Ravendale. I’ve always been passionate about helping the schools that my children attend be the best that they can be, I’ve also been a part of organising events that are run by Friends of School, and really love to see how much the children enjoy them.

I love to walk, and the countryside around the school and where we live is a great place to enjoy rural walking routes.

I feel committed to being part of the governor’s team at Ravendale and I’m excited for what’s to come.

Community Governor

Allan Johnson

Appointed 27.09.2021 Office ends 26.09.2025

Responsibilities for Health and Safety

I am a retired Health and Safety Consultant, having worked mainly offshore. I am married, with 2 grown-up children and 4 grandchildren, 2 of whom attended East Ravendale School when they were younger.  I live in East Ravendale,  right next door to the school, so many of the children will have seen our bulldog, Ruby. Spending time with my family is important to me, although I make time for music ( I used to play the drums) , reading and gardening. Like my fellow Governors, I feel privileged to be part of the team at East Ravendale, and I am committed to help in any way I can.

Headteacher -

Ann-Marie Wilson

I am the proud Headteacher of East Ravendale CE Primary School where I strive to ensure that all the children in our school have the most positive experiences of school, both academically and socially. I am Mum to two children and know how important it is for children to be supported to flourish in a school environment. Outside of school I enjoy walking and often take my little dog on long hikes through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales. It is a privilege to work at East Ravendale - with a supportive team which includes all staff, the governors, our Trust and the families we serve.
